Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities or incidents at an assigned site, providing for the security and safety of studio property and personnel
• Patrol assigned site on foot, bicycle, or golf cart; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Control access to studio site or facility through the admittance process, including checking permissions of persons entering the lot and refusing to admit those without appropriate documentation
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
• Stand for long periods of time (e.g., hours at a time, potentially)
• Work outdoors during all weather conditions

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• English language skills (verbal and written) at a level to communicate and give directions effectively during emergencies
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects (e.g., stage doors) weighing more than 50 pounds
• Current CA Guard Card
• Current CA driver's license
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security or public safety experience (preferred but not required)

Schedule

• Various regular shifts available, including holidays, weekends, and overtime on short or no notice
• Business operates 24/7 every day of the year

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $23.08 per hour, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
