Part-Time Security Officer's
About the role
The primary location for this part-time Security Officer position is Cape Girardeau, MO. The wage offered is $18.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide impeccable customer service and peace of mind to clients and their guests.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
- Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
- Conduct outdoor walking patrols.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent within 6 months.
- Above average computer and technology skills.
- Experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military preferred.
- Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Great attention to detail and vigilant throughout shift.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment.
- Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
