Part-Time Security Officer - Immediate Openings

Duties

• Customer Service: Computer, Phone (answering phones and learning how to use the Vision phone).
• Abilities: Walking (stairs and long distance 7-10 miles per shift ) and Setting for long periods of time.
• Checking in trucks, Answering phones, and Walking patrols

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• A High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete long distance foot patrols, which includes stairs (long distance patrols can be spilt up) and Setting for long periods of time.

Skills

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Answering phones and Vision phone usage.
• Access control duties - checking in trucks.
• Conduct long distance foot patrols (about 7 - 10 miles per shift).
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
