About the role

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking Part-Time Security Officers in the Dedham area. Positions are available based on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing, and completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  • Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
  • Operate a mobile unit to monitor exterior premises and conduct foot patrols.
  • Write detailed reports on daily incidents.
  • Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all patrol-related forms.
  • Respond to security and safety incidents.
  • Maintain patrol vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and car washing.
  • Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior).
  • Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
  • Comply with all requirements/directives in the on-site operations manual/post orders.
  • Assume other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License for three years or more with a clean driving record (for Mobile Patrol).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
  • Dependable means of transportation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (written and verbal).
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Customer service experience preferred; previous experience or related education in a customer service field is a plus.

Schedule

Part-Time, 3rd Shift, Weekends (Friday–Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Pay

$20.50 per hour.
