About the role
Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking Full Time and Part Time Security Officers and Supervisors for the Cambridge and surrounding Boston area. Positions are available based on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing, and completion of orientation.
Pay Rate: $22.15 and up. Hours: various shifts and days available.

Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
- Operate a mobile unit to monitor exterior premises.
- Conduct foot patrols of the premises (interior and/or exterior).
- Write detailed reports on daily incidents.
- Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities.
- Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.
- Maintain proper maintenance of the patrol vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and car washing.
- Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
- Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
- Assume other duties as required by either the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal).
- Dependable means of transportation.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings.
- Must provide 5 years of previous work history or explain gaps in history.
- Must provide 10 years of housing history.
- Must pass a credit check with no significant amount in collections.
- Must complete additional drug screening and fingerprinting.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience or related field/education.
