About the Role
Direct Livestream Broadcast for the District's Sport Programs and other events.
Responsibilities
- Direct livestream broadcast for football, basketball, and baseball
- Assist with volleyball and softball livestream when needed
- Direct and produce press conferences
- Script volleyball and softball livestream
- Organize sponsorship packages to fit into the broadcast
- Train students on equipment management and game-day functions
- Train schools on how to run a livestream
- Organize game-day schedules and job assignments
- Log student-worker hours
- Assist with sponsorships
- Travel to away football games (required) and some away basketball/baseball games
- Direct and produce school plays, Christmas specials, and graduation
- Serve as the liaison between student workers and the Marketing & Communications Director
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Broadcast/livestream experience is required
- Excellent knowledge of broadcast systems is required
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Willingness to work many nights
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, talk, and hear during duties
- Frequently squat, stoop, and kneel
- Continuously use hands to grasp items
- Sit for extended periods
Schedule
No more than 19 hours per week.
