Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Equipment Operator - $20.50

About the role

We are seeking Part Time Seasonal Equipment Operators to help build book fairs for schools. These positions offer flexible hours during the peak school year and are typically off during summer and winter breaks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in functions of PEO – Level I, including inventory movements, cycle counts, perform daily equipment inspections, and asset storage.
• Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy, and quality standards for all work performed.
• Follow all safety policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure work area is neat, clean, safe, and organized per operational standards.
• May work on temporary projects associated with other position descriptions as part of individual and team development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience.
• Completed forklift training program.
• Basic product scanner proficiency.
• Strong team player and good verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to read documents in English.
• At least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand, reach, squat, bend, and kneel as necessary.
• Able to tolerate work in a non-air conditioned environment.
• Able to complete training and become certified to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
