About the role
The Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate role is an on-site position located in Minooka, IL. In this role, the associate helps customers find the right products, provides knowledgeable recommendations on fit, style, and function, and ensures a welcoming in-store experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Answer product questions
- Process transactions at the register
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Restock merchandise
- Support seasonal sales events
- Assist with merchandising and display changes
- Help with inventory tasks such as tagging and organizing products
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with a diverse range of shoppers
- Basic retail skills, including cash handling, point-of-sale system operation, and comfort with upselling and cross-selling products
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain store standards, and support fast-paced seasonal periods
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk the sales floor, lift and carry merchandise, and assist with stockroom duties as needed
- Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to follow directions, collaborate with team members, and contribute to a positive work environment
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
