Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return / go‑back process and general store recovery to ensure a well‑merchandised and in‑stock store.
• Perform Store In‑Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
• Cross‑trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Ability to work in a public retail store setting; public areas are climate‑controlled, some stock rooms may not be, and occasional outdoor work may be required (e.g., retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks).
• Work may involve exposure to glass cutters and heat presses in the frame shop.
• Applicants must satisfy all federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of custom framing selling and production processes.
• Ability to engage customers in rewards and credit card enrollment.
• Familiarity with Omni‑channel fulfillment (BOPIS, SFS).
• Commitment to safety and shrink reduction initiatives.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $17.13 – $20.00. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. The role may involve outdoor tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks, as well as work in climate‑controlled public areas and non‑climate‑controlled stock rooms.
