Part Time School Bus Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time School Bus Driver to transport students on our South Side route. This position offers consistent daily hours with opportunities for additional work throughout the school year.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities.
• Follow all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and school staff.
• Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Current School Bus Endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
• Strong commitment to student safety and punctuality

Pay

Starting at $20.00 per hour (higher rate available based on experience)

Schedule

Approximate daily route times: Morning: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM; Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. Additional hours may be available for early release days (adjusted schedules), field trips, and other transportation needs. Route area: South Side route serving Bartow, Mulberry, Fort Meade, Lake Wales, Wahneta, Winter Haven. Route locations may vary based on student ridership and transportation needs.
