Be the voice, face, and digital pulse of your community as a Part-Time Radio Host / Digital Content Writer at Townsquare Media Group. This in-office, part-time position involves entertaining audiences on-air, creating compelling local digital content, and representing the station across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with a collaborative local team in a digital-first media environment.

Responsibilities
- Host live, engaging on-air shows Monday through Friday.
- Prepare daily show content that entertains, informs, and connects with the target audience.
- Create and publish a minimum of two original local articles per day for the station website and mobile app.
- Write and schedule engaging posts across social platforms including Facebook and others.
- Connect with listeners through interviews, live appearances, remotes, and community events.
- Represent the station at promotions, live broadcasts, and special programming initiatives.
- Produce commercials and assist with market-wide programming and content needs.
- Champion the station brand by building authentic community relationships.
- Collaborate with on-air, digital, production, and sales teams to support integrated content initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating original written digital content.
- Strong on-air presence with the ability to connect authentically with listeners.
- Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
- Solid understanding of current events and various formats.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfort multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate control boards, remote broadcast equipment, and related production tools.
- Willingness to quickly learn and become proficient in NexGen and Adobe Audition.
- Public speaking confidence and comfort interacting with listeners, clients, and partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- High School Diploma (required).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle (required).

Pay
