Part-Time Sales Lead - Chico's

About the role

The Associate Lead supports management in general operations to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability. They perform various sales and register transactions, promote customer service, and assist in developing store associates.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers; responds to inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Handles cash transactions, price changes, and merchandise handling; reviews and submits time sheets for accuracy.
• Maintains an awareness of customers to enhance service levels and security; stays updated on operational policies regarding payments and exchanges.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise according to standards.
• Supervises associates in sales, inventory, and customer service; prepares weekly schedules for optimal floor coverage.
• Builds and maintains a strong customer base through clienteling and wardrobing; models sales expectations by providing product knowledge and recommendations.
• Maintains high standards in merchandise handling, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Facilitates visual directives such as monthly store sets and merchandise replenishment.
• Assists in the development of store associates; interprets Key Performance Indicator reports and provides coaching as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Aged 18 or older.
• Minimum 2 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The wage range for this position is $13.20 - $16.40 per hour. Wage rates are determined based on individual qualifications.

Schedule

Part-time associates are eligible for a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
