About the role

As a Part Time Sales Associate at Tamashii Nations Store New York, you are a crucial part of our operations. Your tasks will include ensuring a neat and orderly store space, educating customers about our products and brand, and facilitating seamless store operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an appealing sales floor by restocking and replenishing products.
• Keep our storage room and showroom organized and clean.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and correspondence with products.
• Engage and educate customers about the Tamashii Nations brand and products.
• Manage customer traffic for a smooth shopping experience.
• Handle register duties (on a rotating shift basis).
• Carry out cleaning duties, ensuring the store and its facilities are clean before opening and after closing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Knowledge of the toy/collectibles industry.
• Familiarity with Anime and other pop culture media.
• Basic reading comprehension of Japanese hiragana and katakana.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs or more.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods with intermittent breaks.

Qualifications

Your core duties will encompass managing customer flow, undertaking register duties on a rotation basis, and executing cleaning responsibilities.
