About the role

Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a part-time Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) and deliver inspirational retail experiences to LEGO® fans of all ages in an interactive and vibrant store environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensure a signature experience for every guest by greeting each visitor, performing all cash register functions, and maintaining a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging manner at all times (80% of role).
  • Provide a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties, maintaining store displays, and learning and executing LEGO Brand Retail visual standards (10% of role).
  • Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom by assisting in the receiving of merchandise, maintaining stockroom standards, knowing and abiding by all safety regulations, and notifying management of potential shortage situations (10% of role).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests, and process information/merchandise through the register system.
  • Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
  • Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.

Requirements

  • Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.

Pay

The base salary for this part-time position is $17.25 to $18.25 an hour. Actual pay is determined based on skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance.

There is potential for this role to become a regular position for excellent performers.
