Part-Time Sales Associate

About the role

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. Ensure smooth store operations, customer satisfaction, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, receive, open, and unpack shipments following store procedures.
• Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, build displays, and restock returned items.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining plan-o-grams and merchandising programs.
• Provide excellent customer service by helping locate products and greeting shoppers.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, collect payments, and bag merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Assist with opening and closing the store, including cash handling, bank deposits, and security protocols.
• Monitor cash levels, assist with camera surveillance, and support cashier accountability and security practices.
• Complete necessary documentation and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash securely.
• Capable of stocking, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Leadership skills to act in managerial absence and oversee store functions.
