PART TIME SALES ASSOCIATE

About the role

Part-time Appliance Salesperson position in Fishkill, NY. This role may lead to full-time for the right candidate. Candidates must be available Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and close sales
• Process payments
• Answer phones, email, and text inquiries
• Provide excellent customer and sales service
• Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Assist coworkers in keeping the showroom organized and clean
• Explain product features and available options
• Work as a team with other employees to ensure proper customer service
• Use available training materials to learn general appliance knowledge and specific model features

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Windows-based computers
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and team-oriented
• Proficiency in English; ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus
• Previous appliance sales experience helpful but not required
• Must be available Saturdays
