Part-Time Sales Associate

Role Overview

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, implementing plan‑ograms, assisting customers, operating cash registers, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The role also involves ensuring safety, security, and adherence to company policies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process deliveries following store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise efficiently.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide exceptional service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage register accountability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure safety standards.
• Support opening and closing store operations under direction.
• In the absence of managers, authorize refunds, count registers, and oversee cash control.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and merchandise presentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safety practices and plan‑ogram adherence.

Experience & Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience. No relocation assistance provided.
