Part Time - Room Service Associate

About the Role

This position involves delivering meals to patients through the Room Service program, ensuring accurate delivery to the correct patient and location. Responsibilities include positioning meal trays for patient comfort, measuring and documenting intake, assisting with menu selection, and responding professionally to patient and family inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized systems to track meal delivery
• Retrieve and inspect trays
• Deliver supplies and nutritional supplements
• Communicate with nursing staff about dietary needs
• Clean and sanitize carts, trays, and dishware
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Restock items
• Perform cleaning and waste disposal tasks

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment & Skills

• Physical stamina and attention to safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment
• Involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Serves patients of all age groups
• No access to patient information
