Part-Time Retail Warehouse Clerk

About the role

Reports to: Country Store Manager. Status: Part-time, non-exempt. Provides the highest level of customer service to customers with a passion of enthusiasm, maintain a safe and organized area. This employee will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude, pleasant, and service-oriented image when communicating with others.
• Handle transactions, voids, markdowns, gift certificates, and tax-exempt purchases.
• Stock and count merchandise as needed.
• Operate tow motor and/or electric pallet jack
• Load and unload products onto or from pallets, trays, racks, or shelves.
• Maintain safe and clean areas
• Daily deliveries, as needed, to customers using hand truck and pallet jack
• Safety while driving is the first priority
• Preventative maintenance and cleanliness of truck is critical
• Daily productivity of truck is the responsibility of driver
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Load customer vehicles
• Assist customers in the store
• Fill propane tanks
• Set up store displays
• Balance out drawer to daily tickets
• Create a positive experience for the customer
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Prior delivery experience is a plus but not required. Centerra supports teammates that are curious, humble and committed.

• Physical demands including loading and unloading bagged products throughout the day

Schedule

Flexible schedule with some Saturday and Sunday hours required.
