About the Role
The Part-Time Retail Team Member is an integral part of creating an outstanding experience in a Funko retail store. As an ambassador of the brand, Store Associates are enthusiastic, motivated team players who are passionate about pop culture and assisting fans to guide and generate sales.
Responsibilities
- Provide fans with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service.
- Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
- Determine fan needs based on probing questions and suggest additional items based on getting to know the fans.
- Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty.
- Handle sales transactions at the register.
- Replenish and organize/tidy-up merchandise.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- 1+ years of retail and/or immersive event experience.
- Track record of creating memorable and engaging customer experiences.
- Excellent verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with fans, peers, and management.
- Good understanding of Pop Culture and follows Pop Culture trends.
- Consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for the brand.
- Open and flexible availability.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and bend; may lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Pay
The base hourly rate for this position in the selected city is $20.77. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
