Part Time Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults, carrying thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. The company aims to make fashion more sustainable by giving life to gently used clothes. They seek part‑time Fashion Consultants (sales associates) who love learning, fashion, finding great deals, and helping the planet, with at least 15 hours of availability each week.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Help customers find outfits, gifts, and/or specific styles
• Organize racks and merchandise clothing
• Help make posts on Instagram and TikTok
• Ring out customers and teach them how to sell to us

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 hours availability per week (part‑time)

Skills

• Fashion knowledge and passion for sustainable resale
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist customers with outfit selection and gift ideas
• Comfort creating content for Instagram and TikTok
• Basic cash handling and ability to teach customers how to sell items
