Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

About the role

This position involves delivering a high-quality customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and supporting store operations. The role includes adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Model excellent customer service practices for internal and external customers
• Promote a positive store culture based on honesty, integrity, and respect
• Process transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and cash handling
• Encourage credit and loyalty program participation
• Follow merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for sale
• Participate in store recovery, cleanliness, and safety initiatives
• Support shrink reduction efforts and adhere to policies and procedures
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Effective teamwork with peers and supervisors
• Retail experience preferred
