Part-Time Retail Merchandiser

About the Role

Service multiple retail locations by meeting store management, managing inventory, performing light cleaning, placing orders, answering questions, taking photos via an app, and occasionally resetting displays. Coverage includes several Harris Teeter stores in Norfolk, VA, and additional locations in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned store locations on a flexible schedule (every 2, 4, or 8 weeks)
• Manage inventory of lightweight reading glasses and sunglasses using a simple planogram
• Perform light cleaning and reset displays as needed
• Place orders and answer customer or store management questions
• Take and submit photos via a smartphone app

Requirements

• Smartphone for app use
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work as a 1099 contractor
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable with light physical tasks
• Ability to follow planograms

Pay

Compensation includes a flat rate per location, with some locations paid hourly after 90 minutes.
