Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About the role

SPAR is growing and expanding its Part Time Retail Merchandiser team in your area. As a SPAR Merchandiser, you will be supported by industry-leading resources and work with top clients in retail and consumer goods. Most merchandising tasks are scheduled within a client’s specified time window, providing flexibility to manage your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Meet with site or department managers to review service call objectives
• Locate displays and remove old product
• Complete full inventory scanning and validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing merchandising standards
• Travel between stores to manage setup, display of merchandise, or current promotions
• Complete call forms and upload required photos

Qualifications

• Merchandising and/or retail experience
• Availability during weekday daytime hours
• Ability to understand and execute planograms
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Access to internet and an active email address
• Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting
• Ability to report client work completions on the same day as service
• Reliable transportation with some travel required
