Part-Time Retail Customer Host Associate - Austin Bluffs Store

About the role

The Associate I, Retail Customer Host will greet customers as they enter the store, thank them as they exit, and provide store information. They will also check customers' receipts and file appropriate reports.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm smile and provide store information.
• Answer questions and offer shopping assistance.
• Direct customers to specific areas and manage customer flow during busy times.
• Thank customers for shopping and ensure accurate transactions.
• File appropriate reports with the Risk department.
• Use handheld scanners and devices to monitor transactions and report incidents.
• Monitor people and identify suspicious behavior while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
• Work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Retail Store door attendant experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Basic technology proficiency (Microsoft, Think Risk, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, especially in busy environments.
