Part Time Retail Attendant - Hershey's Chocolate World $14

About the role

Hershey’s Chocolate World is seeking Retail Sales Attendants to join our team. Located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, this is a part-time position requiring availability to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests, initiate conversations, and answer all questions related to our retail line or products
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean work area
• Operate a cash register
• Must demonstrate our Customer Service Pledge
• Must be approachable, showing that our guests are our priority
• Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs
• Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest
• Greet, welcome, and extend service to customers while meeting or exceeding service standards
• Aid visitors with the purchase of gifts, candy, and souvenirs

Requirements

• Must maintain a neat appearance and adhere to the uniform standards
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative
• General retail knowledge a plus
• Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 lbs with the possibility of overhead lifting
• Must be able to tolerate repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow coworkers and function effectively as part of a team
• Must have basic math skills (addition and subtraction)

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required
• Experience: Retail sales work experience is preferred but not required

Pay

Hrsy’s Chocolate World pays an hourly rate of $14.00 per hour or more based on experience.
