About the role

The Retail Associate assists the store management team in achieving operational goals by performing various roles such as Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.

Responsibilities

• Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows cash handling procedures, provides customer education, directs complex questions, and maintains sales floor cleanliness.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts and tags textiles or wares, produces a set number of items per hour, uses equipment like a pallet jack, and updates production tracking sheets.
• Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations, sorts products, maintains a clean donation area, loads/unloads trucks, and uses heavy equipment.
• eCommerce Producer: Identifies valuable items for ClickGoodwill, stays updated on market values, packs and ships totes, and manages in-store displays.
• e-Books Producer: Scans and decides on book placements, prints inventory sheets, and manages in-store displays.
• Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks/carts for quality, sizes and merchandises the sales floor, updates daily production tracking sheet, and runs racks/wares carts.
