About the Role

The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching operational goals by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. Positions may include Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.

Responsibilities

• Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows cash handling procedures, provides general information about Goodwill programs, maintains cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts products for quality and value, barbs, tags, and hangs items, produces 100 wares/85 textiles per hour, uses pallet jacks and conveyor belts.
• Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations, sorts products, maintains a clean donation area, loads/unloads trucks, uses heavy equipment (pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, hydraulic lift).
• eCommerce Producer: Identifies valuable items for ClickGoodwill, stays informed on market values, tags and secures items, packs and ships totes, meets weekly tote shipping goals.
• e-Books Producer: Scans books, decides on ClickGoodwill or in-store display, prints inventory sheets, packs and ships totes, manages in-store book displays.
• Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks/carts for quality, sizes and merchandises items, maintains sales floor cleanliness, updates production tracking sheets.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to spend time sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for over 8 hours.
