Part-Time Retail Associate

About the role

This part-time position combines cashier and stocker duties to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process transactions using the POS system and adhere to cash-handling policies.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders.
• Neatly stock shelves following merchandising plans and maintain store standards.
• Support inventory procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Maintain safety standards and store cleanliness.
• Support management in achieving operational goals.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.

Skills

• Effective communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate store equipment (e.g., POS system, pallet jacks).
• Strong organizational abilities.

Physical demands

• Lift up to 45 pounds.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and ladders.
• Work in varying temperatures (e.g., freezers, outdoors).
