Part-Time Retail Assistant Manager

About the Role

Support store operations and customer experience in a Christian-centered retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily retail activities such as cash handling, sales reconciliation, and bank deposits.
• Maintain store appearance, displays, and safety standards.
• Train new staff and uphold customer service excellence.
• Supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies and the store's mission.
• Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and handle employee interactions professionally.
• Support inventory management, merchandising, and store setup activities.
• Communicate operational updates and participate in training sessions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; 2-3 years retail management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, cash register operation, and general office equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, and cleaning.
• Excellent vision and manual dexterity for handling documents and merchandise.
• Belief in the Christian faith, commitment to spiritual growth, and adherence to biblical principles.
• Weekend availability and participation in required meetings or training.
• Physical ability to perform daily activities in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment.
