Part-Time Research Assistant I

About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated, diligent, and well-organized candidate with a MS or PhD degree in Immunology or related discipline to join our dynamic research team to investigate dendritic cell biology and immunotherapeutic potential against human chronic viral infections and neuroinflammatory diseases. Located at the Queen Lane Campus in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Competency and proficiency in mammalian cell culture and immune assays, protein biochemistry and/or molecular biology.
• Understanding and experience in the area of inflammation (a plus).
• Maintaining day-to-day laboratory operations and upkeep.
• Handling reagent orders and maintaining records routinely.
• Demonstrating outstanding personal initiative and communication skills (oral and written English).
• Assisting lab personnel and the PI in writing papers and/or scientific projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Immunology or related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Pay

Compensation for this grade ranges from $15 to $23.31 per hour; the offered rate will vary based on qualifications, experience, department budget, and internal equity review.
