Part Time Research Assistant

About the role

The Warren Lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support general laboratory operations, collect data, and perform data analysis for the NIH-funded PERM1 project. This position will involve mouse colony management, molecular biology assessments, and data analysis from mouse studies. The successful candidate should be detail‑oriented, have experience performing data analysis in a research lab setting, and be comfortable working with raw data (chromatograms) and lab workflows. Flexibility and enjoyment of a fast‑paced research environment are important. The role also includes maintaining daily operations in compliance with university and state regulations, supply ordering/management, coordination of experiments, assistance with preparing presentation data, and contribution to lab meetings.
