About the role

Responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning and patient education, addressing biological, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Mentor and educate new staff, students, and peers, promoting quality and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure patient safety through accurate documentation, medication safety, and adherence to policies.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and invasive/non-invasive procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP upon hire.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
