About the role
Seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join a healthcare team in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and addressing patients'/residents' nutritional needs to improve their quality of life.
- Providing nutritional expertise and education to healthcare staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with standards set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop policies and improve dining and nutrition services.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field (prior to 2024) or Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Successful passage of a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or meeting eligibility requirements.
- Licensed or certified per state requirements.
- Knowledge of assessment standards, care planning, and residents' rights.
- Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.
Preferred
- Healthcare or long-term care experience.
Work location: Natchitoches Regional Medical Center and connected nursing facility.

Pay
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
