Part Time -Registered Dietitian

This role supports the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) department by ensuring accurate nutritional assessments and developing care plans that enhance patient health and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments, care plans, and documentation
• Monitor high-risk patients (e.g., weight loss, tube feeding, diabetes)
• Provide guidance to the FNS Manager and team
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic diets
• Observe meal service and ensure sanitation and safety compliance
• Review menus, monitor QA, and assist with surveys as needed

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with current TN license/certification
• Clinical or internship experience in dietetics
• Interest in geriatric nutrition and long-term care
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work across departments and support staff training
