Part-Time Receptionist

About the Role

Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital providing cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine, geriatric psychiatry, multidisciplinary pain management, and outpatient counseling programs. With locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we are the largest LTAC provider in Northwest Louisiana.

This is a part-time, PRN receptionist/PBX operator position with weekend shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and additional shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the hospital and assist with their needs, including directing visitors and family members to appropriate areas.
• Receive incoming calls and transfer them to the correct hospital department.
• Conduct overhead paging for calls, including priority emergency notifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of receptionist experience; medical facility experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Compassionate, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others.

Schedule

Weekend shifts: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Additional shifts may be required as needed.
