Part Time Ranger

What You'll Do

• Walk or patrol the grounds of the campground
• Answer questions and enforce rules
• Ensure the safety of guests and their belongings
• Monitor the property for any issues or potential problems
• Ensure proper security of the property
• Enforce resort rules and address concerns
• Contact law enforcement if necessary
• Validate access for incoming guests at the campground gate
• Perform routine patrols and inspect golf carts and rentals
• Take camping reservations, check in/out guests, and sell day passes and items at the store
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness
• Perform on-call emergency services as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience You Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• The ability to use computer applications
• The ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• The ability to assess situations, make quick judgments, and resolve problems diplomatically
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A friendly demeanor
• Experience in security or law enforcement, or working in an RV environment (a benefit)
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
• The ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis

Pay

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT, and WA is hourly: $17.00 - $17.00.

The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
