Part-Time PTA - Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being, following the plan of care set by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse, or physician; coordinate care with healthcare team members.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members within scope of practice.
• Adhere to all state laws governing home care physical therapy and perform only qualified procedures.

Requirements

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
• Ability to work in diverse home environments and handle physical tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance.
• Availability for weekend rotations.
