Part-Time PTA

About the Role

Support residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting as a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait, and transfer training.
• Document progress and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and techniques.
• Collaborate closely with nursing and rehab staff within a team-focused, resident-centered environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress accurately.
