About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support seniors in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility interventions
- Promote safety, independence, and quality of life for residents
- Accurate documentation of treatments and progress
- Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams
- Educate residents and families on care plans
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
Requirements
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
