Part-Time PTA

About the role

Provides physical therapy interventions to patients under supervision, assisting in monitoring progress and following the established plan of care. Documents care, maintains records, and collaborates with supervising therapists, including co-visits and re-assessments. Manages a caseload, delivers services at patients’ homes or facilities, and supports therapeutic activities, transfers, and use of medical equipment. Ensures care aligns with agency policies, using appropriate technology and infection control standards. Participates in meetings, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• New York State Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Associate’s Degree from an approved program or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of clinical patient care experience
• Valid driver’s license may be required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills
• Basic PC skills
