Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service
About the role
Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Short Pump, VA. Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
Qualifications
- License and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
- Three years of experience is a plus; one year of psychiatry practice is required

Pay
This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, the range for this position is $65,000-$94,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week.
