Part Time Program Manager - Revere Local Schools
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. About the role
You will have a "home base" location but may be asked to work at different schools within the district.
Pay
$19.00–$23.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 8:35 AM and 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit role-model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for a team of staff members.
- Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
- Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures; ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
- Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
- Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to build effective communication and relationships.
- Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes.
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs; ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
- Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
- Must meet all applicable Ohio licensing and employment requirements for school-age child care programs.
- Must pass required background checks and maintain compliance with DCY regulations.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (in-person) or ability to obtain.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a completed JFS 01296 Medical Statement of Child Care Staff, including documentation of clear TB screening and immunization status (including MMR), as required by DCY.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
In addition to the above requirements, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from an accredited college, university, or technical college approved by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY):
- Minimum of an associate degree in child development, early childhood education, or related field.
- Four college-level courses in Child Development or Early Childhood Education and two years of experience working in the early care and education field.
- A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition and two years of experience working in the early care and education field.
- A current prekindergarten associate license issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (DEW).
- A current infant and toddler or early childhood credential from a program accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education.
- Career Pathways Level 3 (CPL 3) credential.
- CPL 2 with two years of experience working in licensed childcare and two years of experience working in the early care and education field.
- CPL 1 with two years of experience in licensed childcare and the ability to achieve CPL level 2 within 12 months of hire and two years of experience working in the early care and education field.
- A current Ohio school-age administrator professional endorsement (if serving only school-age children).
- A current Ohio administrator credential as approved by DCY.
