Part Time Program Manager - Lower Merion School District

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended-day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. About the Role

Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Program Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 9:10 AM and 3:45 PM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Exhibit role model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for a team of staff members.
• Support operational efficiency by maintaining up-to-date site documents and licensing standards.
• Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
• Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
• Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to build effective communication and relationships.
• Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
• Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes.
• Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
• Mitigate potential risks within the program environment.
• Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs, ensuring “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
• Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and visual) with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• Ability to meet Pennsylvania state-specific requirements, including:
  • First Aid and CPR certification (in-person).
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.

Qualifications

One of the following combinations of education and experience is required:

• BA or BS in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services.
• BS degree including 30 hours in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field + 2 years of experience.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field + 3 years of experience.
• Associate’s degree in any field + 1 year of experience.
• BA or BS in any field + 4 years of experience.
