About the role
The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conducts the nursing process, assesses patient needs, plans and implements individualized care, and evaluates outcomes using evidence-based practices.
- Partners with patients and families, ensuring culturally competent care and effective communication.
- Coordinates safe care delivery, promotes teamwork, and supports performance improvement.
- Participates in research and clinical protocols.
- Acts as a preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development and models professional nursing standards.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety goals.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 5 years of patient care experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficient with clinical technology.
- Committed to ongoing professional development.
