Job Description and Position Requirements
Penn State Lehigh Valley is currently accepting applications for Part Time Practical Nursing Adjunct Clinical Instructors, beginning May 2026. This is an on-site position, located at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus and associated clinical sites. Hours include evenings and/or every other weekend.
Requirements
- An active Pennsylvania Nursing license
- Clinical experience
- BSN required
- Nurse Educator experience is recommended, but not required
Qualifications
Nursing Instructor candidates should have an active Pennsylvania Nursing license, along with clinical experience. BSN required. Nurse Educator experience is recommended, but not required.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
