Part Time - Pocket Feeder

About the role

Responsible for operating high-speed bindery equipment, performing manual tasks, inspecting finished products, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machines and pack finished products into cartons
• Safely move materials and perform hand operations as needed
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals
• Inspect products for quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace

Requirements

• Experience operating machinery in any industry
• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience/training
• Ability to interpret instructions, work orders, and safety rules
• Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
• Mechanically inclined, comfortable with basic tools
• Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused

Preferred Skills

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting equipment

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Standing for most of the shift in a team-oriented setting
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
