Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living such as dressing and grooming
• Showers
• Medication management
• Light meal preparation
• Laundry
• Escorting residents to and from the dining room and activities around the campus
• Providing general support to help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam
• Seek excellence in care, even in the little things done for residents
• Maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards and in promoting resident dignity
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed
• Comfortable being active, walking (and using golf carts) throughout the campus and responding to resident needs across a large area (community includes two main buildings and multiple cottages)
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, and patience are essential

Skills

• Prior experience in care-giving is preferred
• All caregivers will receive online and in-person training prior to working independently

Pay

Available Shifts: PM SHIFTS - Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays 2:30 PM-11 PM
