Part Time Pharmacy Technician

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeps the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan
• Access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Preferred: Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay and Schedule

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.

Schedule

This is a Part time role where you will be working 32 hours a week. The pharmacy is open from Monday-Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm EST and Saturday 11:00am to 2:00pm EST; the manager is willing to work with you on the schedule needed each week.
