Part-time Pet Sitter - Kirkwood, Inman Park and Old Fourth Ward

Are you passionate about animals and looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity? Pet Minders is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Pet Sitters in the East Atlanta area. As a Pet Sitter, you will play a crucial role in providing in-home pet care services to our clients' beloved pets during holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning and evening visits (7-9 AM and 7-9 PM) to clients' homes for dog visits with flexibility for cat visits.
• Perform midday dog walks as required.
• Provide essential care for pets, including walking, feeding, administering medication, and ensuring their overall well-being.
• Offer love, attention, and companionship to pets in the absence of their owners.
• Complete tasks such as bringing in mail and packages, cleaning litter boxes, and refreshing water.
• Overnight stays may be required from approximately 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Comfortably walk dogs in various weather conditions.
• Develop strong bonds with pets to ensure a positive and trusting relationship.
• Commit to at least one year with the position, preferably longer, to maintain consistency for the pets.

Requirements

• Must reside within a 12-minute commute of Kirkwood or Old Fourth Ward neighborhoods in East Atlanta.
• Must have a reliable car and a smartphone.
• Availability during specified hours, including holidays and weekends.
• Dependability and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to accommodate summer and holiday pet sitting needs.
• Commitment to at least one year with the position (preferably longer).

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or pet ownership preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Compensation: 48% of the price charged to clients per visit plus 100% of tips left.

Schedule

• Morning and evening visits: 7‑9 AM and 7‑9 PM.
• Midday dog walks as required.
• Overnight stays: approximately 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Availability required on holidays and weekends.
